Lightest All Electric Vehicle: DeLaSalle School Electric Propulsion Project – New Guinness World Records?

An electric vehicle(EV) was developed by a team of students at DeLaSalle School in Kansas City along with Bridgestone America’s engineers as part of their class project on electric propulsion. Built base on 2000 Lola Indy Car, it has ultra light-weight aerodynamic body and also supported by Bridgestone Ecopia EP100 tires.The ultra-lightweight EV has been tested on Bridgestone’s Texas Proving Grounds and the electric vehicle has the fuel efficiency of 300mpg.
The DeLaSalle School’s students are now petitioning their new EV for the Guinness World Records.
